An Assortment of Silver Plated and White Metal Flatware and Serving Pieces

An assortment of silver plated and white metal flatware and serving implements in various traditional British patterns, including Fiddle, Old English, and styles reminiscent of the King’s pattern. The collection features several substantial serving pieces, including a large soup ladle with a deep circular bowl, a large serving fork, a solid basting spoon, and a fish slice with a decorative slotted blade. Also included are three large serving spoons with decorative pierced bowls, one of which features an exceptionally long handle, and a cake server with a foliate pierced blade. A single dinner knife is present with a dark-coloured celluloid handle and a shaped back blade. The remainder of the collection comprises a variety of table and dessert forks, dessert spoons, teaspoons, and several small condiment spoons. The items are constructed from electroplated nickel silver (EPNS) and base white metal. No maker’s marks or hallmarks are clearly legible on the stems or bowls of the pieces.
