This porcelain bowl is produced by Wade of England and is designed in the form of a Viking longship. The piece features a stylized dragon-head prow and a scrolled stern, with the hull sides decorated with relief-moulded circular shields. The exterior is finished in a glossy honey-brown glaze with darker highlights to the moulded details, while the interior is finished in a contrasting pale ochre glaze. The ship sits upon an integral wavy base designed to simulate water.
