An assortment of British military memorabilia comprising three campaign medals, a commemorative brass dish, and a trench art container. The collection includes two World War II War Medals 1939-1945 struck in cupro-nickel, featuring the crowned effigy of King George VI with the inscription GEORGIVS VI D: G: BR: OMN: REX ET INDIAE IMP:. One medal is unmounted, while the second is fitted with a composite ribbon combining joined sections of the 1914-1920 British War Medal and the 1914-1919 Victory Medal. The group also contains an Italy Star, a six-pointed bronze alloy campaign star with the Royal Cipher GRI VI surmounted by a crown and the inscription THE ITALY STAR at the base. The circular brass dish displays a repoussé design of a First World War soldier in service dress holding a rifle with a fixed bayonet. The turned aluminium container is designed in the form of a large-caliber bullet or shell, featuring knurled sections for grip on the cap.
