A Collection of Victorian and Edwardian Copper, Brass, and Iron Metalware

A collection of domestic metalware and kitchenalia comprising copper, brass, and iron items. The copperware includes a large kettle with a stationary black-painted wooden handle and acorn finial, a tea kettle with a gooseneck spout and decorative open-work metal handle, a large circular cooking pot with a fitted lid and twin side handles, and two tapered measures or pitchers with riveted strap handles. The brassware consists of multiple graduated candlesticks of turned form, a pair of candlesticks with spiral-twist stems, a cylindrical canister with a domed lid and finial, and a pierced flat kitchen tool resembling a skimmer with a long handle. Also included is a set of balance scales with a black-painted cast iron frame and a brass weighing pan, accompanied by three graduated cast iron weights. Further items include a small wrought iron scrollwork stand, a lidded pewter or silver-plated tankard, and a small enamel-lined saucepan with a black handle. The copper pieces exhibit hand-wrought construction with visible riveted seams, while the brass and iron items are cast and machine-turned. No maker marks or hallmarks are visible on the items.
