A mid-century metamorphic drinks or hostess trolley, attributed to Besway. The piece is designed with two tiers featuring dark wood-grain laminate surfaces on a dark-stained frame. It incorporates a rise-and-fall mechanism, allowing the lower shelf to be lifted via a central pull-knob and positioned flush alongside the top shelf to expand the surface area into a single-level table. The frame consists of upright side supports joined by horizontal stretchers, resting on four square-section legs mounted on black swivel casters.
