A set of Royal Worcester Pekin pattern porcelain coffee cans and saucers

Royal Worcester porcelain coffee cans and saucers in the Pekin pattern. This set comprises five coffee cans and six saucers. The cups are of traditional straight-sided can form with simple loop handles, accompanied by shallow saucers. Each piece is decorated with a vibrant Chinoiserie-inspired floral pattern featuring a central ritual vessel or incense burner surrounded by trailing branches, peonies, and foliate scrolls. The palette includes iron red, cobalt blue, yellow, and green, with gilded highlights to the rims and handles. The underside of the saucers carries a printed factory mark in black consisting of a crown above a circular device with four Ws and a crescent, alongside the text ROYAL WORCESTER and MADE IN ENGLAND. It also features the registration number RN No 608482 and a hand-painted pattern number W 9757 in iron red. This registration number indicates the design was registered circa 1912.
