Royal Mail Glasgow 2014 XX Commonwealth Games Philatelic Coin Cover with 50p Coin

A philatelic coin cover issued by Royal Mail to commemorate the Glasgow 2014 XX Commonwealth Games. The cover features a complete set of six commemorative postage stamps depicting various sports including judo, swimming, athletics, squash, netball, and cycling. The stamps are cancelled by two black pictorial postmarks dated 17 July 2014, which feature a silhouette of the Glasgow skyline. Inset into the left side of the cover is a Brilliant Uncirculated 2014 Commonwealth Games 50p coin. The reverse of the coin, designed by Alex Loudon, features a track cyclist and the Saltire. The item is individually numbered at the bottom right as No 07465 and carries the Royal Mail Tallents House, Edinburgh imprint.
