A Trio of Ironstone Tableware Pieces in the Mandalay Pattern, Attributed to Mason's

A collection of three ironstone ceramic items decorated in the Mandalay pattern, attributed to Mason’s. The set includes a lidded jar of ovoid form with a domed cover, a hydra jug featuring a scalloped rim and an ornate scrolled handle, and a faceted octagonal jug. Each piece is decorated in a traditional English Imari palette, combining underglaze cobalt blue scrolls with hand-painted overglaze enamels in shades of iron red and pink to create vibrant floral sprays. Fine gilded accents are applied to the rims, handles, and decorative motifs throughout the pattern. The forms and decoration are characteristic of 19th-century English ironstone production. No manufacturer’s marks are visible on the exterior surfaces of the items.
