Dinky Toys NSU Ro 80 Model Car

A vintage die-cast metal model of an NSU Ro 80, manufactured by Dinky Toys (Meccano Ltd) in England. The vehicle is finished in metallic red with a cream plastic interior and clear windows. The die-cast baseplate features embossed lettering reading DINKY TOYS, NSU Ro 80, PROV PATENT No 13239/68, MECCANO LTD, and MADE IN ENGLAND. An embossed emblem representing a Wankel rotary engine is present on the front portion of the baseplate. This model was originally designed with a battery-operated feature for working front and rear lights, evidenced by the central battery compartment opening. The vehicle retains four black rubber tyres on metal hubs.
