A Victorian Sapphire and Diamond Carved Gallery Ring in Yellow Gold

An antique-style ring featuring three graduated, circular-cut blue sapphires and four small round-cut accent diamonds. The gemstones are secured in a yellow gold claw setting with a decorative scroll-carved gallery, a design hallmark of late 19th-century English jewellery. The shank is a plain, tapering yellow gold band. The interior of the band features several stamped marks; however, these are heavily worn and cannot be definitively read. Based on similar examples from this period and style, the mount is likely 18 carat gold.
