An assortment of vintage British children’s publications comprising three hardcover annuals and several softcover comic magazines. The hardcover volumes feature pictorial boards and include Andy Pandy’s Annual, based on the BBC Television programme Watch with Mother; a Rupert Daily Express Annual featuring the character created by Mary Tourtel and illustrated in the style of Alfred Bestall, including Magic Painting Pages; and The Magic Roundabout: A Present for Dougal, based on the BBC television series. The softcover ephemera includes multiple issues of Seven magazine (including No. 1 dated 20th February 1971 and No. 3 dated 6th March 1971), an issue of Playhour featuring Sooty, and a Walt Disney Donald Duck publication. The items are presented in quarto and large octavo formats.
