Vintage Silver Gilt Filigree and Enamel Butterfly Brooch

A vintage filigree brooch designed in the form of a butterfly, resembling the Jugendstil style. The piece features fine wirework wings decorated with bands of pale blue, salmon pink, and yellow enamel. The central body is constructed from coiled silver wire and features two beaded antennae. The item is crafted from silver with a gold-toned gilt finish. The reverse is fitted with a horizontal pin and a rotating safety catch. A small rectangular punch mark is located on the reverse central bar; however, the characters are illegible and cannot be used for definitive identification.
