The collection comprises multiple vessels featuring horizontal enamelled bands in various colours and transfer-printed labels for different liquors set within scrolling decorative borders. The assortment includes decanters for Cognac, Port, Rum, Sherry, and Scotch, with others partially visible in the background. The Cognac barrel is finished with a white glaze and gold-toned bands, featuring a black transfer-printed eagle above a letter N and Cognac text. The Port barrel has a cream-coloured glazed body with burgundy bands and Port text within a blue scrolling border. The Rum barrel features white glaze with orange bands and Rum text within a blue scrolling border. The Sherry barrel is decorated with teal bands and Sherry text within an orange scrolling border. The Scotch barrel has red bands and Scotch text within an orange scrolling border. Each barrel is fitted with a metal dispensing spigot at the base and a removable screw-top lid at the top. These items are characteristic of mid-20th-century Staffordshire-style pottery home bar accessories.
