Description

An open-face pocket watch featuring a white enamel dial signed H.E. PECK. LONDON and SWISS MADE. The dial is configured with black Roman numeral hour markers, an outer minute track, and a sunken sub-seconds dial located at the 6 o’clock position. It is fitted with ornate gold-tone spade-style hour and minute hands. The watch is housed in a .935 silver case, which is marked on the interior case back with the official Swiss standing bear hallmark and the 0,935 silver purity stamp. The case back is also engraved with the letter U and the serial number 2276443. The movement is a manual key-wind and key-set type, accessed through two apertures in the internal dust cover or cuvette. H.E. Peck was a well-known London-based retailer that specialised in the import and sale of Swiss-manufactured timepieces for the British market.
