A Collection of International Banknotes and Ephemera including DE, FR, PL, and NP issues

A collection of diverse international banknotes and ephemera from issuers in Europe and Asia. The assembly includes a German 50,000 Mark Reichsbanknote dated 19 November 1922, featuring the portrait of the merchant Hans Imhoff. Also present are Federal Republic of Germany 5 and 10 Deutsche Mark notes from the 1960 series, portraying Bettina von Arnim and Hans Urmiller respectively. Other currency includes a 1948 Polish 50 Zlotych note from the Narodowy Bank Polski, several French 5 Francs notes including the 1943 Berger type and the 1960s Le Verrier type, and a blue Nepalese 10 Rupee note featuring King Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah. The collection is accompanied by a handwritten receipt from The Irish Horse Abattoir Investment Co. Ltd, dated 6 April 1948, acknowledging payment for shares. The banknotes exhibit various printing techniques, including multi-colour lithography and intaglio printing with intricate guilloche patterns and watermarks.
