A Collection of UK Silver and Cupro-Nickel Coins
Description
A collection of British pre-decimal coinage, including sixpences and a silver threepence. The group contains multiple issues from the reign of King George VI, featuring the bare-headed effigy on the obverse and the crowned GRI cypher on the reverse with the inscription FID DEF IND IMP. A silver threepence dated 1930 displays the oak leaves and acorns reverse. One sixpence is clearly dated 1946. The group consists of .500 fine silver and cupro-nickel denominations, alongside a worn bronze issue depicting Britannia.
