A vintage Kodak No. 2 Folding Autographic Brownie camera, manufactured by the Eastman Kodak Co. in Rochester, N.Y., U.S.A. This vertical folding bellows camera was designed for medium format A120 or 120 roll film. The body is constructed from metal and wood, originally finished with a black leatherette covering. The camera is equipped with a Kodak Anastigmat f-7.7 lens and a Kodak Ball Bearing Shutter. The shutter features settings for Time (T), Bulb (B), and instantaneous speeds of 1/25, 1/50, and 1/100 seconds. The aperture is an adjustable iris diaphragm with a scale ranging from f/7.7 to f/45. The front standard includes a swivelling waist-level brilliant viewfinder and a folding metal support leg for stability. The decorative shutter faceplate is inscribed NO. 2 FOLDING AUTOGRAPHIC BROWNIE and includes the number 10889. The lower rim of the shutter housing carries the manufacturer name and multiple patent dates from 1910 to 1915.
