A collection of international travel postcards and paper ephemera dating from the mid-20th century. The grouping includes a cream-coloured paper souvenir folder printed with Recuerdo de BUENOS AIRES. Included within the assortment are several monochrome and colour postcards primarily focused on South American and European destinations. Notable items include a multi-view card of Lima, Peru, featuring the Plaza de Armas, Municipalidad, and Palacio Arzobispal. Chilean views include panoramas of Viña del Mar and the Camino a Concón. Maritime interest is represented by a colour illustration of a Royal Mail Line Highland vessel at Lisbon. European scenery includes a colour postcard of Lough Currane, Waterville, Ring of Kerry, Ireland, alongside various alpine and urban architectural views. The cards consist of a variety of printing methods including real photo and lithographic types.
