A mid-20th-century vintage travelling case, designed as a salesman’s sample case or professional vanity chest. The rectangular case features a dark brown leather-bound exterior with perimeter stitching over a rigid frame. The drop-front panel opens to reveal a tan-coloured interior configured with three full-width pull-out drawers and a narrow vertical side compartment. The interior of the front flap is fitted with a brown elasticated retaining strap. External hardware includes two silver-tone metal flip-latch locks with integrated keyholes and a central leather-wrapped carry handle. No maker’s marks, brand logos, or country of origin stamps are visible on the interior or exterior.
