1993 Gibraltar Silver Proof 1 Crown Peter Rabbit Centenary

This 1993 Gibraltar 1 Crown is a sterling silver (.925) commemorative coin struck by the Pobjoy Mint to celebrate the centenary of Peter Rabbit. The obverse displays the Raphael Maklouf effigy of Queen Elizabeth II with the inscriptions ELIZABETH II and GIBRALTAR · 1993. The reverse features a classic illustration of Peter Rabbit in a garden setting, after Beatrix Potter, with the legend 100 YEARS OF PETER RABBIT · 1893 · 1993 · 1 CROWN.
