A Set of Mid-20th Century Glazed Earthenware Spirit Barrel and Six Cups by Enorm

A mid-20th century novelty spirit dispenser set comprising a ceramic barrel and six matching miniature mugs. The earthenware barrel features a cream-coloured glaze with widespread fine crazing and is decorated with hand-painted red floral motifs and green foliage between dark brown horizontal bands. A removable wooden tap is fitted to the front face. The barrel rests on a wooden X-frame stand decorated with pyrographic floral patterns, featuring integrated racks to accommodate the accompanying cups. A red circular seal is applied to the side of the barrel, featuring the word ENORM arranged in a cross-shaped pattern sharing a central O. This mark identifies the set as promotional barware for the Dutch company Enorm (Eerste Nederlandsche Organisatie van Reclame-Middelen), based in Utrecht.
