A collection of fireplace accessories comprising a companion set and matching andirons. The pieces are constructed from polished brass with cast iron components. The companion set includes a central stand featuring a circular moulded base and a horizontal tool rack, supporting a shovel, tongs, a poker, and a hearth brush. Each tool and the stand are topped with decorative urn-and-ball finials. The matching brass andiron fronts feature large urn finials set on baluster stems, supported by scrolled tripod bases with cabriole-style feet. The rear log supports are made from cast iron. The style is in the manner of late Victorian or Rococo designs, frequently associated with mid-20th-century Italian metalware.
