A pair of matching vintage shoe trees constructed from light-coloured solid wood, featuring a two-piece hinged design. The toe sections are shaped from single blocks of wood and connected to the heel blocks by an internal metal hinge mechanism. Each tree is fitted with a vertically oriented, turned wooden handle featuring a rounded finial. An impressed oval mark is present on the upper surface of the left-hand toe section, containing the legible characters T, R, I, and a partial M on the upper line; the remaining text and the lower line within the oval are worn and not legible as a name. A white rectangular adhesive label with the handwritten number 1447 is applied to the upper surface of the right-hand toe section.
