A Spanish porcelain figurine of a puppy, modelled in a playful pouncing position. The puppy is finished in a white glaze with light brown patches to the head and back, with its front paws resting upon a mauve-coloured slipper. The underside features a printed brown mark consisting of the word NAO beside a ship’s hull and sail logo, above the text HAND MADE IN SPAIN BY LLADRÓ and a copyright notice for DAISA 2002. Also present on the base is an incised four-digit number 1427, a small circular firing hole, and a circular adhesive inventory sticker printed with the numbers 02 and 530.
