A collection of three vintage ceramic wall pockets, comprising various forms and hand-painted decorations. The first is a tapered teardrop-shaped wall pocket of white-glazed earthenware, featuring a pierced top rim and three large butterflies painted in tones of brown and yellow with grey scrolls. The reverse is hand-inscribed in black ink ‘Handmade Guernsey’. The second is a smaller white-glazed porcelain pocket of flared form with a flat base and two circular mounting holes, decorated with blue forget-me-nots and purple flowers. The reverse bears a faint green printed backstamp including the words ‘NORTH BERWICK SCOTLAND’. The third item is a cornucopia-shaped wall pocket with a scrolled hanging loop, decorated in the traditional Delft style with blue and white floral motifs. The reverse is hand-inscribed in blue ‘DELFTS HOLLAND HANDPAINTED’.
