The circular well transitions into an irregular hexagonal rim featuring six integral, protruding pointed handles or lugs. Carved from a single block of timber, the bowl exhibits a deep interior with visible tool marks and a flat base. The wood possesses a dark, aged patina throughout. The interior and one lateral section of the exterior display heavy encrustation and darkening. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are present on any surface. Such vessels were traditionally utilized for the manual kneading of dough.
