A collection of clear glass items featuring golfing-related motifs and traditional cutting. The group comprises three large stemmed vessels decorated with a complex cut pattern. This design includes a central band of strawberry diamond hatching, topped with fan-shaped mitres and finished with elongated vertical wedge cuts to the lower section. The stems feature a faceted knop and terminate in circular bases with a deeply cut radial star pattern. The collection also includes a large footed bowl with straight sides and a central pedestal stem. The exterior is etched with figures of golfers in mid-swing. An etched inscription to the interior side, visible through the glass, reads William Higgins Cup 1983 Gleneagles. Also included is a small cylindrical tumbler featuring an etched figure of a golfer and three horizontal bands near the base.
