The first split-cane rod is a two-piece honey-toned construction with green silk whippings and a cork handle, paired with a partial olive-drab cloth bag. The composite rod is a two-piece dark brown design featuring a cork grip and a silver-toned metal screw-down reel seat, stored in a full-length tan canvas bag with ties. A three-piece split-cane rod follows, exhibiting a dark reddish-brown finish, red silk whippings, and closely spaced intermediate wraps, with a cork handle and metal fittings. A small shield-shaped decal is adhered just above the handle of this rod; it contains a graphic of a fish, but the accompanying text and internal details are not legible. This rod includes a partial tan cloth bag. The final rod is a three-piece split-cane construction in a honey tone with green silk whippings, a cork handle, and a partial tan cloth bag.
