An assortment of British art pottery, primarily comprising earthenware and stoneware pieces dating from the mid-20th century. The collection includes a small green glazed earthenware jug with a ribbed lower body and hand-painted floral sprays, and a medium-sized green earthenware jug with a smooth bulbous body decorated with hand-painted floral motifs. An Art Deco style cylindrical pottery vase features a mottled grey-green sponge-applied glaze decorated with stylised concentric circle motifs in black and green. Also included is a large, wide-mouthed ovoid earthenware vase with an ochre and brown ground featuring a central band of abstract foliate decoration. Two tapered earthenware jugs are present; one with a mint green glaze decorated with hand-painted autumnal leaves and another of similar form with a cream ground and hand-painted brown and orange leaf decoration. The collection is completed by a circular, squat ceramic lidded trinket box decorated with a vibrant, stylised floral pattern in black, orange, and yellow. No maker’s marks, signatures, or factory stamps are visible on the surfaces shown in the overview.
