A collection of vintage mid-century barware featuring a coordinated equestrian theme. The set includes a Hawthorne strainer, a double-ended jigger, a bottle opener, ice tongs, a corkscrew, and an ice pick. Each tool is fitted with a moulded off-white resin handle in the shape of a horse’s head. These handles feature gold-toned painted detailing to the manes and eyes, with a small metal ring through the muzzle. The tools themselves are constructed from chrome-plated metal. Also included are two separate bottle stoppers: one cast metal stopper featuring a standing horse figurine with the word WALES incised on the base, and a second cork stopper with a tiered metal top and an attached chain and ring. This style of barware is characteristic of Japanese exports from the mid-20th century.
