A collection of miscellaneous metalware and household objects. The group includes a heavy brass mallet with a cylindrical handle and two brass candlesticks featuring stepped square bases. There are two rectangular metal ingots, one gold-toned and one silver-toned, both featuring the embossed characters ASTRAL. One pea-style whistle bears an impressed mark reading THE ACME CITY and MADE IN ENGLAND. A cylindrical whistle is also present, featuring an impressed inscription on the barrel; while the characters METROPOLITAN are legible, the remaining text is not clearly readable. The assortment is completed by a pair of silver-toned metal tongs with spoon-shaped ends and a table knife featuring a decoratively scrolled and serrated blade with a cream-coloured celluloid handle.
