A collection of six silver-plated metalware items. The group features a large rectangular serving tray with twin ornate loop handles and a raised, foliate-and-scroll cast border. The flat surface of the tray is decorated with a large engraved central cartouche surrounded by elaborate scrolling foliate and floral patterns. The silver plating on this piece has worn through in areas, particularly to the centre and raised decoration, revealing the underlying copper base metal. Included is a matching three-piece tea service consisting of a teapot, an open twin-handled sugar bowl, and a cream jug. These pieces are designed with compressed globular bodies, each featuring a gadrooned band around the shoulder and standing on a short circular foot. The teapot is fitted with a hinged lid topped with a circular finial and an ornate handle. The collection also contains two mugs: one straight-sided example with a simple D-shaped handle and a matte grey finish, and one slightly flared mug with a heavily tarnished surface. No maker marks or hallmarks are visible on any of the pieces.
