A traditional Moroccan leather floor pouffe or ottoman of circular form. The piece is constructed from multiple hand-stitched leather panels joined by prominent whip-stitching in a contrasting pink-toned thread. The top surface features a central dark brown octagonal star-shaped panel surrounded by eight red leather segments. Each red segment is shaped as a truncated hexagon and is decorated with a hand-embroidered eight-pointed star motif in dark thread. The side of the ottoman is formed from alternating vertical panels of red and black leather. No maker’s marks or labels are visible on the exterior surfaces.
