A trio of Chinese porcelain hexagonal ginger jars with conforming lidded tops, decorated in a mid-to-late 20th-century interpretation of the famille rose palette. The set features three graduating sizes, each decorated with polychrome enamels in soft pinks, pale blues, and greens. The decorative scheme across the three vessels includes various floral motifs such as peonies and clusters of grapes, alongside a small bird perched upon a branch. The panels are defined by simple blue line borders. The smallest jar bears a printed blue underglaze mark on the base within a rectangular cartouche, reading Zhongguo Zhizao, which translates to China Made. This vessel features a recessed, glazed circular centre within the unglazed hexagonal foot. The medium jar is finished with a flat, unglazed hexagonal base, while the largest jar has a recessed, glazed hexagonal base with a broad, unglazed foot rim.
