A mid-20th century fondue set comprising a globular spun copper pot with a fitted lid and a long, tapered black handle. The pot is supported by a three-legged stand constructed from bent black-painted metal, which rests upon a circular copper underplate. The set includes a matching copper spirit burner with an adjustable handle and a group of six stainless steel fondue forks, each finished with a black handle and a different coloured plastic tip for individual identification. The pot and lid are finished with turned black knobs. No maker’s marks, signatures, or inscriptions are visible on the exterior surfaces of the pot, stand, or base.
