Lot 133:
An Assortment of Decorative Porcelain and Ceramic Figurines and a Teapot
Description
A collection of four decorative items comprising three figurines and a small teapot. The first figurine depicts a lady in an expansive, tiered lavender and purple crinoline skirt decorated with yellow floral sprays, wearing a yellow hat with matching floral accents. The second, a seated figure in a red jacket and a green and blue plaid skirt, is shown holding a spaniel; this piece is in the style of the Royal Doulton Penelope (HN1902) model. The third is a small figurine of a lady dressed in late 18th-century style attire, featuring a blue bodice, a light pink skirt, and a white mob cap with pink ribbons. The collection also includes a small porcelain teapot with a white ground decorated with polychrome floral sprays in pink, blue, and yellow, further embellished with turquoise-green scrolling foliage and a gold-tone gilded rim. The lid is surmounted by a pink flower-bud finial. No factory marks or signatures are visible on any of the pieces from the provided perspective. a/f
