An English art deco ceramic serving dish of square form with rounded corners and two integrated, pierced rectangular handles. The earthenware body is decorated with a mottled sky blue and cream drip glaze. The interior well features relief-molded decoration, including a central concentric square pattern framed by a border of scrolls and lattice work. The underside is finished in a similar blue glaze and bears an impressed number 359 above the impressed words MADE IN ENGLAND. A small, hand-painted mark in dark pigment, appearing as the digit 4, is also present on the base.
