The auction will start in __ days and __ hours __ minutes

Description

This collection consists of nine ceramic drinking vessels, including various two and three-handled loving cups and a single-handled tankard, primarily constructed from earthenware and porcelain. A notable portion of the group relates to the Taunton Cider Company, featuring three two-handled earthenware mugs. These include one with the Taunton Dry Blackthorn Cider logo in black transfer, one with the Taunton Cider stylized T logo and apples, and a third with Taunton Cider text and an apple branch motif. Based on manufacturer labels and historical production consensus, these pieces are attributed to Wade Pottery. The lot includes a large three-handled loving cup decorated with hand-tinted floral sprays, which retains an adhesive label for Wade. Further items include a large two-handled mug with pink floral transfer patterns and a tall, fluted white porcelain tankard with a gilded handle and rim. Topographical and commemorative pieces are also present, comprising a blue and white transfer-printed three-handled mug depicting a historic industrial building and a black and white transfer-printed two-handled mug featuring a village market scene.
