A Collection of Nine Taunton Cider Glazed Earthenware Loving Cups and Mugs with Original Box

A collection of nine glazed earthenware cider mugs and loving cups, attributed to Wade Potteries and Honiton Pottery, produced for the Taunton Cider Company of Norton Fitzwarren, Somerset. The collection includes a variety of sizes and decorative styles, featuring a large three-handled floral tyg with a frilled pie-crust base, inscribed with the names Catherine and Bowle. Other notable pieces include a cream-glazed Dry Blackthorn Cider loving cup with black transfer-printed text, a large Taunton traditional mug with a stylized apple logo, and a mug decorated with a transfer-printed apple and leaf motif. The assortment further contains several mugs with black and white transfer-printed designs depicting architectural and industrial subjects, a heraldic crest, and a shop front with a fruit border to the interior rim. A small blue and white transfer-printed landscape mug is also included. The collection is accompanied by one original yellow cardboard box featuring Taunton Cider branding and apple motifs.
