UK 2011 King James Bible 400th Anniversary PNC, SG 3230-3236

Royal Mail philatelic numismatic cover (PNC) issued on 8 November 2011 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible. The cover features a set of seven commemorative stamps (SG 3230-3236), comprising 2nd, Large 2nd, 1st, Large 1st, 68p, £1.10, and £1.65 denominations. All stamps are cancelled with a thematic London EC4 circular date stamp (CDS) featuring a central cross and text reading Celebrating 400 Years of the King James Bible. An inset brilliant uncirculated £2 coin produced by the Royal Mint is positioned in the lower left, surrounded by printed biblical text from Genesis. The parchment-toned envelope displays Gothic script titling, a decorative floral border, and a printed serial number No 01679. The left margin bears the address of Royal Mail Tallents House, Edinburgh.
