2015 Jersey Five Pound Longest Reigning Monarch Proof Coin

A 2015 Jersey five pound commemorative proof coin issued to mark the occasion of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II becoming the longest-reigning monarch. The coin is struck in cupro-nickel with selective gold ink detailing. The obverse features the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley (IRB), with the legend ELIZABETH II BAILIWICK OF JERSEY 2015. The reverse displays a central shield with the royal cypher E R beneath a crown, framed by gilded oak leaves, inscribed LONG TO REIGN OVER US – 2015 and 1952 – 2015 with the denomination FIVE POUNDS. It is housed in a protective plastic capsule and accompanied by its original Certificate of Authenticity, numbered 0393 from a limited edition of 4,950. This coin was issued to mark the date Queen Elizabeth II became Britain’s longest-reigning monarch on 9 September 2015.
