A collection of UK commemorative cupro-nickel coins comprising several five-pound crowns and earlier crown-sized issues. The group includes pieces commemorating the 1953 Coronation of HM Queen Elizabeth II, the 1965 Winston Churchill memorial, the 1997 Golden Wedding Anniversary of HM Queen Elizabeth II and HRH Prince Philip, the 1998 50th Birthday of HRH The Prince of Wales, the 1999/2000 Millennium, the 2000 100th Birthday of HM Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, and the 2001 Centenary of the death of Queen Victoria. The obverse designs feature various effigies of HM Queen Elizabeth II by Mary Gillick, Arnold Machin, Raphael Maklouf, and Ian Rank-Broadley.
