L.S. Lowry, A Procession, Colour Print Circa 1970's

A photomechanical colour reproduction after the 1938 oil painting titled A Procession by Laurence Stephen Lowry (British, 1887–1976). The composition depicts a bustling industrial town square populated with the artist’s characteristic matchstick figures, with a dense crowd gathered behind railings in the background. The print is plate-signed and dated L.S. LOWRY 1938 in the lower left corner. The reverse bears a gallery label from Rembrandt Studio, 42 Grange Road West, Birkenhead, with a handwritten title and artist attribution. The work is presented in a gilt wooden frame with a fabric-textured inner slip.
