The double-breasted coat is constructed from a khaki-drab cotton-synthetic blend fabric and includes its matching fabric waist belt with a rectangular metal sliding buckle. The garment is fitted with insignia for the Tank Forces, comprising black cloth collar tabs with gold-coloured metal tank emblems. The rank is that of a Colonel, indicated by the field-khaki shoulder boards featuring two red longitudinal stripes and three gold-coloured metal stars on each. A single-tier award ribbon bar is pinned to the left chest, displaying a red-based ribbon with white and blue edges, consistent with Soviet long-service or jubilee medals. The buttons are standard Soviet military pattern in brown plastic, embossed with a five-pointed star containing a hammer and sickle motif. No manufacturer’s marks or size labels are visible on the exterior of the garment.
