This wall-mounted armillary sundial is constructed from cast iron with a dark weathered patina. The assembly is supported by a scrolled bracket decorated with cast floral and foliate patterns. The bracket connects to a base fashioned as a terrestrial globe with visible longitudinal and latitudinal lines. The circular flange of the globe base acts as a compass rose, featuring cast capital letters N, S, and W at the cardinal points. The metal sundial is fixed to a rectangular wooden backing panel with a dark-stained finish and a border of carved floral and quatrefoil motifs.
