This lot features two pieces of furniture: a tripod wine table and a low country-style stool. The tripod table is constructed from stained hardwood with a mahogany finish, featuring a circular solid wood top with a raised moulded edge. The top is supported by a turned central pedestal column that terminates in three splayed cabriole-style legs with pad feet. The stool is made of dark-stained oak or a similar fruitwood in a traditional country vernacular style. It features a woven seagrass seat in a basket-weave pattern. The frame consists of four square-section corner posts with turned baluster detailing, connected by a four-sided H-stretcher and terminating in block feet. No maker’s marks or labels are visible on either piece.
