A Swiss-made miniature brass mantel clock, designed in the form of a pocket watch. The circular brass case is accented by a decorative beaded bezel and is supported by two spherical bun feet. At the top is a large suspension ring pendant, mimicking the style of a pocket watch.

The white enamel-style dial features black Roman numeral hour markers and an outer track of Arabic numerals at five-minute intervals (5 through 60). The dial is marked SWIZA and 8 below the twelve o’clock position. It has three hands: ornate openwork hour and minute hands, and a plain alarm indicator hand.

The reverse features a brass backplate with a sunburst engine-turned finish. It is marked PATENT PENDING on the upper left and SWISS MADE on the upper right. The mechanical 8-day movement is operated by several integrated controls: a fold-out winding key, a central adjustment knob, a pull-out alarm switch, and a regulator lever. The backplate is further inscribed with literal instructional marks: PULL-ON and PUSH-OFF next to bell symbols for the alarm; TIME next to a clock icon; ALARM next to a bell icon; and + and – for the regulator. Two additional symbols representing the sun and moon are located near the top.
