A two-piece lot of table service items comprising a ceramic butter dish and a clear molded glass preserve dish. The butter dish consists of a rectangular base and a wedge-shaped cover with an applied loop handle. The cover is decorated with a hand-painted scene depicting a windmill beside a cottage and water, set against a graduated orange and yellow ground. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on the ceramic surfaces. The preserve dish is crafted from clear pressed glass featuring a crimped, ruffled rim and a pattern of circular rosettes above a radiating sunburst base. It is held within a three-footed silver-toned metal stand with a scrolled wire handle. Suspended from the handle is a metal spoon with a circular bowl and a decorative terminal. The metal components show no visible hallmarks or maker’s marks.
